Lithgovian Rolling Stock

There are many Lithgovian Citizens, and unusually, some of the citizenry have either their own engines or vee-hickles (yes, we spell phonetically here) or even, locomotives named for their contribution or their role, as you will see below. Remember, all of this is in the name of good fun and generally being creative, vegging out and just dagging around. So do not be surprised at any of the designs below; just like the Christmas and New Year tankers, 'tis all in the name of fun in Lithgovia. (We also have an Aeroplane Jelly Train, but that's another story.)

Lithcafe 86 - Blue

Lithcafe SD 40-2

Lithcafe is the morning drink of Lithgovians. The strength of the Lithgovian economy is prohibition of inferior products. It is kick-ass coffee, having 86 beans in every cup. Blue SD40-2 available for download

Lithcafe 86 - Goodwin Alco

Lithcafe 86 Red Alco

Goodwin in Australia manufactured the Alco DL500 world series locomotive under licence. NSWGR and SAR were users of this locomotive build. NSW employed the 'slad end' version of this class, which is both highly valued and fully appreciated by Lithgovian Crews, Ambassadors, Lords, Knights and ipso facto, everyone in the High Court of Sir JatzCrackers. Here, it is shown in Lithafe 86 Red colours. Red Lithcafe Alco available for download

Oldfart's Decretal

Monsignor Oldfart, Primate of the Unorthodox Patriarchy of Lithgovia, hath decreed that no US Rolling Stock shall be permitted to operate on any trackage of the Greater Lithgovia Railway. Future rolling stock must be of Lithgovian lineage or origin. The most likely interpretations of this decretal, from the Bowels of the Lithgovian Inquisition, is that future locomotives will most likely all be 44's ...

Actually, the truth of the matter is that US locomotives are out of whack with the Lithgovian Loading Gauge, hence the need to discard the US Interlopers and use local motive power. Exception to this is the Panther, Lithgovian 1000, which is out on hire to Pac Rat, at the princely some of $1500 per diem. This locomotive is frequently observed in the stoops of WP2 ...

Lithgovian 1000

The owner of this undecorated DD40X has prohibited making this available for download unless uploaded to the Auran Download station by hisself. Therefore, we will not be making Lithgovian 1000 available for download. However, you can download the undecorated DD40X for yourself and apply your own decorations. Search for kuid 58377 and you should turn up 4 kuids for this loco.

Very Unorthodox Patriarchate of Lithgovia.

Monsignor Oldfart has his own train, and his own locomotive:

Monsignor Oldfart's locomotive

The Malevolent Monsignor is quite chuffed with his locomotive and of his magnaminous grace, seeks to share it with you for your divine sanctification ...

Lord Axa Chute Shunna

Lord Axa Chute Shunna's Locomotive

Lord Axa Chute Shunna is a very hard working fellow. Always collecting hags and shaggy witches to burn, putting faggots to the stake (you understand the etymology of faggots, a type of wood, of course) and then there is the rack, that instrument of the Lithgovian Inquistion. Of course, recently, Lord Axa Chute Shunna was invited to Bagdhad for a certain hanging. Busy fellow, he was home for New Year's Day, courtesy of a grateful Dubya.

Now then, Lord Axa Chute Shunna has his own train, and is happy that to share the true nature of the Evil Empire of Lithgovia with you. You can download Lord Axa Chute Shunna's locomotive.

Lord qr3900

Lord qr3900, our resident director of the Lithgovian Conservatorium was two engines in his honour and indeed, a conservatorium train to ferry musicians and their instruments from recital to recital. They are very popular and sustain themeselves on Sgt Peppers Pepperoni, the inspiring drink for aspiring musicians.

Lord qr3900's first locomotive awaiting repair in the East Lithgovia Workshops

Lord qr3900's first engine, an attractive butterbox (We call Box Cab locos Butterboxes in Lithgovia, due their resemblance to the old butterboxes that used to inhabit our Coolgardie safes. Should you ever see a locomotive resembling a Coolgardie safe, you will know all about it, we promise you.

Lord qr3900 recently had a celebration of his Natalia, and thus, it was decided to give him a new loco motion, as he was sick of slab end 44's. The new loco motion doth ably and properly celebrate the inspiration of the Lithgoivan Conservatorium of Music:

In celebration of the Natalia of Lord qr3900, Greater Lithgovia Railways makes Sgt Peppers Spark available for download

Halfth Century of Sir Gwiwer Greybeard

A well known raconteur and knockabout of Lithgovia, Sir Gwiwer Greybeard recently celebrated his Halfth Century Anniversary. Lord 574M, Procurator and Builder of Rolling Stock to the Greater Lithgovian Railway, did respond to the following request from Sir Gwiwer Greybeard: "In the lack of a suitable Lithgovian local motive to acknowledge such a significant event may I request a perfectly acceptable alternative: suitably adorned Class 50 Local Motive".

Thus was born the 50004, a local motive which was "procured" as we say, for the purposes of celebrating the Halfth Century Anniversary of Sir Gwiwer Greybeard.

Grimy Class 50 no 50004 at Home
(Prior to Transportation)

Of course, during the period of "procuration" the Local Motive did indeed suffer further denigration and deterioration of the external surfaces. Terrible what an extended exposure to salt and sea will do for a locomotive exterior ...

50004 in state of external disrepair
(After Transportation)

This Local Motion was indeed attacked immediately in the Paintshop. Rigourous action was undertaken with application of various abrasives to the external surfaces ...

Class 50 Number 50004 in undercoat
(During application of abrasives, etc)

Due traffic demand, this local motion was sent out for revenue service during restoration

Grimy Class 50 no 50004 undergoing transformation
(Sent out for revenue service during undercoat phase)

We are pleased to show you the final result of our labours, a suitably adorned celebratory Class 50, emblazoned with a suitably misleading "50" and the Lithgovian Embleme, the Halfth Century Anniversary of the Natale of Sir Gwiwer Greybeard.

Glengovia 18 Year Old Single Malt Whiskey

Glengovia 44 Class locomotive

Glengovia Distillries proudly announces the forthcoming release of this year's GLENGOVIA 18 yr old single malt, which promises to be possibly the finest Lithgovian malt yet produced.

Brewed from malted Lithgovian barley, and distilled over State Mine coal, GLENGOVIA 18yo bears resemblence to the darkest of Islay malts. A smooth, mild palate subtle in attack gives way to a deep, smoky complexity redolent of the peaty waters of the district. Connoisseurs compare GLENGOVIA to both Glenkinchie and Lagavulin, claiming GLENGOVIA somehow finds a middle ground between the Islay and Lowland characteristics of Scotch single malts.

The Glengovia Brand adorns the side of the Slab End Alco. Suitable tumbers of Malt Whiskey and Ice adorn the centre of the Slab-End and indeed, the Nose.

Glengoiva Locomotive and train

In celebration of the auspicious release of Glengovia 18 year old Malt, a Slab End loco motion and suitable vee-hickle for transport of this superior blend of Single Malt, Greater Lithgovia Railways makes the Glengovia Slab End available for download

GP 37

In the year of the conquest of the Bottom Points, Greater Lithgovia emerged victorious and took a trophy of war, a sole, unique GP 37 from Ferro Carravales De Guerre. Suitably repainted to honour the values of all Lithgovia, this locomotive was pressed into duties when all tunnels were widened to accommodate this out-of-gauge beast.

Lithgovian GP 37

The Lithgovian GP 37 was accidentally destroyed in a military manoevure when an attempted kick-shunt of the 9 inche Rail-Gun, Lith-Dora, backfired.

Looking Down the Barrel

A regrettable incident, the loss of the Worlds Only GP-37 and a replacement is on order. See High Lord 574M for further details. We bring you the last known images of this beast, courtesy of someone who is not-a-gunzel, running train 6113, an extra south during the Hutt River Military Protectorate Bivouac.
